10 Minute Tomato Soup

Ingredients: 2 litres whole or crushed canned tomatoes. I used tomatoes I canned this summer / 1 Medium onion (chopped) / 2 Table spoons (ish) each of dried oregano and basil / 3-4 Table spoons of dried minced garlic. If you have fresh I would use about 3 minced cloves / 3/4 cup heavy cream / enough olive oil to sauteed the onion herbs and garlic / Sea salt and fresh ground pepper to taste ( when I canned my tomatoes I added salt to them so for my soup it didn’t take more than a couple shakes ) / A little shredded cheese for garnish

Chai Tea Latte Gummies

I will start out saying I’m not your typical blogger, as a matter of fact I really don’t enjoy writing at all =) but I do love to cook, create and share ideas so here I am.  Most of my posts will be short and sweet . This idea came to me after making some coconut milk gummies a few weeks back …. I had been on a chai latte kick for a bit and thought why not combine the two and reap all of the nutritional benefits that both gummies and chai have to offer (I’m a two birds with one stone kind of girl) so here you go !

Kefir Ranch Dressing

Well as usual I didn’t measure when I made this but its a little of this and a little of that kind of recipe any way. Ingredients: 1  1/4 cup  kefir sour cream / 1/4 cup homemade mayo / splash of milk  (it all depends how thick you like your dressing) I do not skim the cream off of our milk so it is full fat / 1 tsp organic garlic powder  / 1 tsp organic onion granules / 1/2 tsp organic  smoked black pepper / 2 tsp fresh or dry dill

Homemade Pepperoni

The original recipe was sent to me by my cousin and her husband, I made my own adjustments to suit my families taste and health preferences. Ingredients: 2 lbs grass fed beef / 3 tsp smoked paprika powder / 2 tsp ground black pepper / 2 tsp organic mustard seed / 1/2 tsp organic garlic powder / 1/2 tsp organic coconut sugar / 1 heaping tsp real salt (the pink kind) / 1heaping tsp smoked sea salt

I can only guess that I’m not the only person in the world that has a hard time getting their toddler to eat …….our 2.5 year old is one busy girl and it’s rare to get her to eat allot of anything at one time unless of course it’s something thats yummy and fun. Hence  the name little chickies (her favorite part) these yummy little cookies are packed full of all sorts of goodness and protein (my favorite part).
